Whether you’re hiring for the first time or are a regular user of the space, it’s important to understand your responsibilities to help keep the studio safe, professional, and running smoothly for everyone.
If something goes wrong, such as equipment not working, someone getting injured, or something needing attention, you’ll find the right forms and instructions on this portal.
Bookings
Bookings are only confirmed once full payment is received and a confirmation email is sent.
Recurring bookings can be arranged by contacting the CODE team directly.
A security bond may be required for large or high-value bookings, or events involving food/drink.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancel 24+ hours in advance for a full refund. No refund for cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows.
Rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours in advance and is subject to availability.
Studio Access and Usage
Access may be via key safe or building code (active only during booking), physical keys or a CODE representative meeting you onsite (15-minute wait time applies)
Use is for rehearsal/practice or other approved activities only.
Booking time includes setup and pack-down — no extra time will be added.
Late exits may be charged at the standard rate if there is no conflicting booking, or at a double rate if another booking is affected.
Code of Conduct
Respect shared spaces, noise levels, and others on the premises.
Leave the studio clean and tidy.
No smoking or alcohol allowed.
Supervise all attendees and follow studio safety protocols.
CODE is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Report all damage, accidents, or issues immediately.
Misconduct may result in termination of hire.
Liability & Insurance
Business or commercial hirers must hold public liability insurance and provide proof upon request.
